"Pretty Average - Beware of Any EXTRA Bits in their Pies" This place was a little bit of local delight. Our pies were pretty average compared to a lot of other bakeries now out and about. Mine had a big chunk of 'something' extra inside it - which was very chewy and hard (unknown). The rest seemed pretty OK. The wife's pie was also pretty average, nothing special. However, our little shared sausage roll was very dry, hard and tasteless. by Jenny & Andrew

Been here about a dozen times, average/middle of the road pie shop best describes this place.

Not a store I would rush to, which is a shame.

On numerous occasions I've had lumps of fat and god knows what in my pies, so quality of meat leaves a bit to be desired. I can smell the cheap cut of meat they use in the pies , chuck, skirt or something similar, average. Taste wise they are ok but nothing memorable nor fantastic either.

And like other reviewers I've had product which I'm sure has been sitting around in the warmer for a while, not fresh.

WA pricing at its worst! Almost had a heart attack when it came to paying for two pies, two drinks and a French vanilla slice, which I can only assume was made in France and brought over in a concord. The pies were lukewarm. Grrrr!

Pies pasties and sausage rolls are all quite greasy/fatty consistently with excess oil on the paper packaging.
